Reverend Canon Doctor Princewill Ndubuisi Chinda was born on the 5th of June, 1953 — a man whose life became a testament to faith, service, and unwavering love for God and family.

As a Reverend Canon and Doctor, he devoted his life to the service of the Church and his community, carrying the Gospel with grace and conviction. His titles were not merely academic or ecclesiastical honours — they were reflections of a life poured out in dedication to the Kingdom of God.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce N. Chinda, their five children, and eleven cherished grandchildren — a living legacy of love, faith, and purpose.

The Rev'd Canon Princewill Ndubuisi Chinda hails from the family of the late Chief Dickson Okabie Chinda and Mrs. Hannah Nchelem Chinda, all of blessed memory, in Rumulechi, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Rebisi-Diobu in Port Harcourt Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria, in West Africa.

A man of exceptional academic distinction, he holds a terminal degree of philosophy — a Ph.D in Educational Management and Planning from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT-Agbani), Enugu State, Nigeria. He obtained a Doctorate Degree in Ministry at the United Bible University, Ikeja-Lagos. He holds a Master's Degree in Educational Management and Planning from Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, and a Master of Theology (M.Th) from the Theological College of Northern Nigeria, Bukuru, Jos, Plateau State.

Moreover, he obtained his Bachelor of Divinity (B.Div) at the University of Jos, Plateau State, and holds a first degree in Science from Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Rev'd Canon Dr. Chinda was a distinguished member of the Nigerian Institute of Building, having once served as Chairman of its Rivers State branch. He was equally a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria. He rose to the rank of Director of Works in the Local Government Council of Rivers State, and served as a lecturer at the Trinity Theological College, Ukwulaga, Umuahia-Abia State, making disciples and shaping minds for the Kingdom of God.

He continued to affect lives at the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt. A prolific author, he wrote and published several books, the most recent being a work on national reformation titled:

"Faith Factor: Values and Cultural Remodeling Strategy for National Reformation"
